Sigrid - Usability Engineer

The people who visit web sites aren't "users," click-throughs, hits, numbers on a spreadsheet, or some other form of dehumanizing jargon. They're your husband, your mom, your friend, the guy who sits in the office next to you. They're real PEOPLE, just like you and me. I am a usability engineer here. That means, I ensure that we place people first.
I think a successful site is one that makes real people's lives easier; one that makes them say, "This site worked for me." So I've made it my mission to ensure this kind of experience at the sites we build. I don't see users, I see people.
And there are pretty interesting people who work here…!

I spend most of my spare time with my three little monsters, Wolf, Paulien and Hanna. We love cooking elaborate dinners and painting (walls, kitchen table, bath tub,…). I love laughing a lot and I enjoy wandering my mind about human behavior.
When things get messy, throw me some PK (personal kick), like scuba diving, sailing or going out ‘till sunrise. It’s a secret, but I’m passionate about weight lifting…
